How To Be Bougie on $5 a Month

We know that being bougie is often tied to being expensive. The day cruises, bottomless mimosas, and all-white parties can create huge dents in your weekly (hah, monthly) budget. Let us help you take your bougie-ness to new levels, while only spending $5.

1. Whip Out That Library Card
What is being bougie if it not being cultured? Rent out videos that were modern 3 decades ago, and show off your knowledge of vintage classics to your friends. Anyone can watch the New Avengers, only you will have access to the library's only copy of "Casablanca". Feel free to hold on to it so no one else can watch it either.

2. Arrive At All Events 20 Minutes Early
Can't ball out on the most expensive cocktails? Get to the bar early and order their cheapest drinks in their fanciest glass. Did you know you can just ask for olives and intricately cut oranges? From a distance, nobody can tell a dry martini from a double shot of rail vodka with an olive in it.

3. Use Google Earth to Travel the World
Passports are expensive, and so are plane tickets. Forget all that noise and see the world from the comfort of your home! Most major landmarks can be seen in 3D and if not, you can check them out in Street View. Yes, Paris may seem less romantic from your couch, but with the money that you save, you can pay your phone bill on time for 6 months straight.
